The track lengths are the same, the melody is the same, but the lyrics are slightly different.
For those who may have noticed, the track listing for the Japanese album is ever so slightly different, listing “Kyoto” as a “Japanese version”.
Here’s a comparison of lyrics:
We’re holding a life line that ends
Clutching at straws with both our hands
I would do it again
I would do it again
…
Something must give something must break
Our sense of survival love not hate
I would do it again
I would do it again
The Japanese version:
We’re holding a life line that ends
Clutching at straws with both our hands
Kokoro wa hitotsu
Kokoro wa hitotsu
…
Something must give something must break
Our sense of survival love not hate
Kokoro wa hitotsu
I would do it again
Have a listen:
What do you think to “Kyoto” and the rest of the Tallulah?
